BIOGRAPHY

Megan Welch is a painter and educator residing in Northeast Florida. A graduate of the Savannah College of Art & Design, Megan holds an M.F.A. in Painting. She completed her B.F.A. in Fine Art with a concentration in Painting and Drawing at the University of North Florida. During her time at UNF, she studied in the Tuscany region of Italy and completed an art therapy internship with Art With a Heart for Children at Wolfson Children’s Hospital.

Megan’s paintings and drawings have been shown regionally in the Northeast and Central Florida area. Recent career highlights include her work as an Alumni Atelier Associate at the Savannah College of Art + Design, being included in the Museum Of Contemporary Art Jacksonville’s FIFTY exhibition, a juried exhibition at World of Wonder Gallery in Los Angeles, completing an internship with the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville in their Public Art program, and having an essay published in Women’s Caucus for Art’s annual Pulse Newsletter.
